THE WILDCAT WRESTLING CLUB WELCOMES PAT CUMMINS AND RYAN BERTIN TO CHICAGO
Ryan Bertin, 2-time NCAA champion & 4-time NCAA All-American, and Pat Cummins, Real Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champ, former Big Ten Champ and NCAA Finalist, have agreed to join the Wildcat Wrestling Club in Evanston, Illinois.
Pat will continue to pursue his Olympic dream, while being sponsored by the WWC through its Graduate Program. It will offer graduate programs to successful former NCAA wrestlers and students who wish to continue in wrestling while pursuing professional career goals, graduate studies, or US National Team membership in Freestyle or Greco-Roman wrestling.
While pursuing his Olympic dream, Pat Cummins will work with wrestlers of all ages that can benefit from his experience as part of his commitment to the WWC.
In addition to Ryan’s responsibilities with the Wildcat Wrestling Club, he will also be joining the brokerage staff at Paine/Wetzel Associates ONCOR International, a 30 year-old Chicago-based commercial real estate sales, leasing and services company. Recognizing that real estate decisions are among the most complicated and significant made by their clients, Paine/Wetzel provides sound and expert counsel, fusing market knowledge, rigorous analysis and creativity. The business experience gained by Ryan will allow him to pursue graduate school opportunities with some of the finest graduate institutions in the country in either business or law.
The Wildcat Wrestling Club will be utilizing the new Ken Kraft Wrestling Complex at Northwestern University, one of the finest facilities in the country, and also home of the Northwestern University wrestling team. Wildcat Wrestling Club practice sessions will be held separately from the Northwestern University wrestling team practices, and allow athletes of all ages in the Chicago area access to the very best in wrestling talent, instruction and facilities.
The Wildcat Wrestling Club is a not-for profit organization. It will offer graduate programs to successful former NCAA wrestlers and students who wish to continue in wrestling while pursuing professional career goals, graduate studies, or US National Team membership in Freestyle or Greco-Roman wrestling.
